Definition
AI Visibility is the share of sampled AI answers to a tracked set of buyer questions in which a brand is mentioned. It is reported per platform, per topic and per buying stage, because the average hides the gaps that matter. A brand can be visible on battery-life questions and invisible on pet-hair questions on the same day.
AI Visibility is a relative measure on the questions you track. It is not a share of all conversations on a platform, which is not observable from outside, and it should always be read with its sample size and run date.
Why it matters
It is the first number a buyer’s decision depends on. If the brand is not in the answer, nothing else on the page is read.
How it is measured
Answers naming the brand ÷ sampled answers, on dated runs with the same questions and platforms, then normalized to a 0–100 index for comparison. flowgen AI Visibility shows it question by question with the reason behind each gap.
