Questions and demand

What is Opportunity Score?

A score that ranks questions by combining AI search demand, purchase intent, competitor visibility, brand visibility, content fit and business relevance. It does not predict future traffic or revenue.

Definition

An opportunity score ranks questions by how much they are worth working on. It combines estimated AI search demand, purchase intent, competitor visibility, your own visibility, content fit and business relevance into one ordering.

A high score typically means strong demand, high intent, competitors present and your brand absent, with a clear page to create or improve. It is a prioritization aid, not a forecast of traffic or revenue.

Why it matters

A GEO audit produces dozens of gaps. The score decides which one gets this week, so the team works on the question that leads to customers rather than the one that is easiest.

How it is measured

Each factor is scored on its own scale and weighted. The weights can be tuned to a business, and the factors behind every score stay visible so a person can override the ranking with context the data does not have.
