Prompt Demand is flowgen’s term for the estimated interest behind a buyer question on AI platforms, expressed as a relative index rather than a count. It combines signals that can be observed, such as related search demand, the frequency of a question in sales and support records, and how often the topic appears in sampled AI answers.
Demand is one of five inputs to the opportunity score, alongside purchase intent, competitor exposure, your visibility and content coverage. A question with high demand and high competitor exposure where you have no page is the clearest opportunity a brand can have.
Why it matters
Demand is what makes a gap worth closing. Without it, a long list of lost questions has no order.
How it is measured
As a 0–100 relative index on the questions you track, labelled estimated. flowgen AI Demand ranks questions by the opportunity score that demand feeds into.
